Our root beer/coke floats were a hit on Friday! The kids loved it! I don't remember having this much fun when I was in school. I overheard one of the kids say, "This is the best class ever. I mean, we got to EAT our science lesson!" LOL! Yes kids, you have a teacher that loves to eat! Now quick, what is the solid, the liquid, and the gas in this experiment?
OMG I'm totally using this as a science experiment. I'm so bad with science...what's the gas, the bubbly stuff?? Give me a quick run through the lesson Lori!!
During the day, I am a 3rd grade teacher that absolutely loves my job. The rest of time I try to balance keeping papers graded, working on my Master's degree in Library Media, and dating my childhood best friend. There are up's, and there are down's - but for the most part, it is a great ride! This is my daily journal so I'll remember all the stuff called life!!

I'm emailing you the info. now! :-)
Yeah...I would think that class rocks too!
If your next science experiment involves chocolate, I will gladly volunteeer to come be your class helper for the day!
seriously, I never had that much fun in school...
I wish I had a teacher like you while in school. The lesson sounds like fun
Wow--your kids look like they are having a blast. Cool idea. I got a similar reaction when we made puppy chow (class "experiment").
Thanks for dropping by. I've visited your blog a few times and really enjoy it.
Hope to see you soon!
cool experiment!
